Ghoomo Karachi puts the city's farmhouses and beach huts in one place, with real prices and live availability, so planning a picnic stops being a group chat.
Why we built it
Booking a farmhouse in Karachi used to mean asking around for a number, calling six people, hearing six different prices, and finding out on the day that the place was already taken. Beach huts were worse — you turned up at Hawksbay and haggled on the sand.
None of that is a property problem. Karachi has hundreds of good places. It is an information problem: there was nowhere to see what was free, what it cost, and what you were actually getting.
So we built the thing that was missing. Every listing shows its real rate for your party size, its actual availability for your date, and photos of the place rather than of somebody else's. You book it online, pay half to hold it, and pay the rest at the gate.
How we work
One price, shown up front
The figure on the listing is the figure you pay. Nothing is added at the gate, and nothing is hidden until checkout.
Nobody gets your number
Owners never receive a guest's contact details, and guests never receive an owner's. Everything goes through us.
Every listing is reviewed
A property does not go live until our team has looked at it. Owners are verified before they can list.
Availability is real
A date shown as free is free. Taking a booking locks that slot immediately, so the same lawn is never sold twice.
Owners keep their price
Owners set what they want to earn. Our margin is ours to worry about, not something taken out of their rate.
Reviews come from bookings
Only guests who actually booked can review, and every review is moderated before it appears.
